Tobacco Bay Beach - Bermuda information
For many visitors by cruise ship in St. George's,
Bermuda, Tobacco Bay is the first (and hopefully not last) beach they
will see. Just a short walk (uphill unfortunately) from St.
George's town square where the cruise ships dock, you will find yourself
overlooking Tobacco Bay! It is a gorgeous little bay and beach
that gets incredibly crowded in the weekdays during summer. Here
is a photo:

Ask anyone is the square, "Which way to Tobacco Bay?"
and you will be there in 10 minutes. Catch a minibus right in the
square if you don't feel like walking. You will pass the historic
Unfinished Church
about half way there. Achilles
Bay Beach and Fort
St. Catherine Beach are nearby and, usually, not as busy.
Whether a family vacation, company conference or
romantic honeymoon, Bermuda is the perfect vacation/holiday destination!
| With mile after mile of
public, pink beaches and a very active nightlife, "Bermuda" or "The
Devil's Isles" is popular with not only those who have been coming
to visit for years, but is also immediately loved by newcomers, too.
